What happens to your text
This is how the early demo handles what you paste into it, as it works today. Marc only drafts. It never sends a message for you.
What we store
Marc stores the examples you paste, your briefs, its drafts and the edits you save. Agreeing to that storage is required, because Marc can’t draft without them.
Sending text to the AI model
Marc writes drafts with an AI model, which means sending your text to our AI provider. That is a separate choice that stays off until you turn it on, and the demo needs it on to write drafts.
Instructions hidden in pasted text
Text you paste is sent as data, and the model is instructed not to follow instructions inside it. That makes it harder for a pasted message to steer a draft. It doesn’t make it impossible.
Logs, costs and retries
Our logs don’t contain what you wrote. A hard spending cap refuses a request before it is sent if it could go over, and a failed request is retried at most once.
Export and delete
You can download your samples, briefs, drafts, revisions and consent choices as one file. You can delete one sample and everything made from it, or delete all of it at once.
Deleting removes your content from Marc’s database. Copies in backups or in our AI provider’s logs are outside what we can erase.
